My Photo Howdy and welcome to my home page. I am a student at Texas A&M University studying for my masters degree in Computer Science. I work for Dr. Furuta as a research assistent in the CSDL (Center for the Study of Digital Libraries). I am currently working on the Cervantes project.

My research interests include information visualization, hypermedia, digital libraries and information retrevial. Outside of Computer Science I am mainly interested in linguistics (esp. minority/endangered languages and culture) and philosophy (esp. philosophy of religion).

My hobbies include photography, cooking, reading and travel (when I have the time/money). For a somewhat more extended biography, see my bio page. If you'd like to get in touch with me, feel free to email me at neal@csdl.tamu.edu. And no, in case you were wondering, I don't look like that anymore, but it was the best picture I could find.
